Warm and spacious, love this gaiter. Had a synthetic one that I was using, the odor reduction on this one is much better even after long days in the sun.
This jacket is so comfortable and warm, I want to wear it every day! I've been surprised at how warm it keeps me, especially when I layer with a wool t-shirt. It's a good spring/fall jacket, and probably a good winter layer as well.
I'm 5'3", 120lbs, and the S fits perfectly.
I’m 5’9”, 165 and the medium fits perfect. Maybe an inch of torso length would be nice. When I’m not stretching my arms upwards it fits great, when I am a bit of my abdomen shows. I wear this thing daily and it cuts the wind and cold amazing (especially in these cold ND spring nights.) I would definitely buy another if I lost it. I’m looking to buy another and additional length to the torso would be a plus. Don’t hesitate and get this excellent outer layer now! Best jacket I’ve owned.
Lightweight and breathable, Odor reduction is excellent. Drop seam at the back is a nice touch. Only surprise for me was sleeve length which is slightly shorter than expected but not really and issue for me. Awesome shirt
Bought one for my son and then had to buy one for me. I ordered a medium - I am 5’4” and 130#. It is a good fit and can layer a long sleeved shirt under it. It gets breezy and cold here by the Pacific Ocean, so it works wells as a layer or on its own. It is amazingly warm and it breaths. I normally can not wear wool next to my skin — but this material works well for my touchy skin. It launders well. I hang it to dry. And the neck construction keeps my neck warm not like many hoodies that don’t cover your neck. Love love love this hoodie. Am wearing it now as I write this review. More colors would be great.
I'm 6' 230# ordered a 2x. The fit is snug. I'm ok with the product. Would have ordered one size bigger if it was available.
I love the bright color! I’d been considering investing in a merino sun shirt for a while but so many out there are subdued colors and as a runner in the city I want to be as visible as possible. This coral hoodie is now my favorite running shirt – it’s as breathable and wicking as my synthetic shirts, but without the constant battle with locked-in stink. Sure, I may not smell like daisies after an hour of running, but I smell a lot better in this than I did wearing polyester, and if I hang up the shirt to air out afterward, any sweaty smell virtually vanishes by the next day. I can keep wearing it for several runs before I put it through the wash, save some water. Thus far I’ve been wearing it in mild spring weather, and it keeps me warm at the beginning if it’s breezy and then is nice and breathable toward the end when I’m warm from exertion. It seems like the shirt will continue to be comfortable in warmer temps - I definitely plan to keep wearing it throughout the summer. (Anything to avoid putting on sunscreen…)
One thing to be aware of is that if you wear a bra you may want one that’s close to your skin color, and any logos on the bra may show through. Also, as a runner I don’t find it practical to wear the hood (although I imagine it’s great for other things). If Wuru ever makes a hoodless option available with a high neck, I’d be all over that. Would save me putting sunscreen on my neck.
Prefect hoodie for traveling, everyday wear and cool mornings. I am 5'8 and ordered a medium, the fit is perfect and the color is spot on.
I have a drawer full of products that did not relieve the pain in my toes. .It has been a a problem for years Their wuruwool finally works because it does not put pressure on the sores . Please try this wool and get some pain relief
I already had some nasty blisters on my toes from hiking so when I got this I wrapped it around those toes before putting my socks on and I was able to walk around pain free! I’m pumped to actually hike using them now
This shirt is very comfortable and well made. The sizing is true to size and has a great choice of colors to choose from. I do wish it was a little bit thicker. Customer service from Wuru Wool is great dealing with any order problems or changes.
I really love this hoody. Great material and quality. I also really like the weight, enough to break a light wind but not too heavy that its hot. The only thing I can see that needs improvement is the length of the toroso, its far too short. if you raise your arms it rises too much and exposes your mid drift. Some of this is the length and some of this I believe is the cut because when you put the hood on you can feel the back raise up. If they made it a longer cut it would be perfect!
I have corns between the 2 big toes on my right foot that are incredibly painful during the long winters where I live. W/sandals they’re not too bad… anyway, I was using a silicone spacer, which worked ok, but then I found Wuru Wool. It is SO much better! Now I can go for long winter walks w/o pain. Thanks a million for this wonderful product!
I wore this base layer in Antarctica and I had to get another set. They’re soft, not bulky and kept me warm and comfortable. They’re worth every penny.
I bought this Wuru zip-up to replace a much-loved, worn-out Ibex merino that is no longer made by that company. The Wuru version is a solid B+; it feels thicker, more like a sweatshirt and a little less form-fitting, if that's what you happen to be searching for. It does fit very well, seems quite warm, and has a thick band of fabric across the bottom, which is helpful for keeping the zip-up in place across your hips. One small grievance is that the interior pockets in front cause the exterior fabric to pucker slightly. We really shouldn't know the pockets are in there, so perhaps a thinner fabric for the pockets would be helpful.
I will be wearing this merino constantly through the spring and fall and am really glad to have found something that works so well. I'm 5 feet 6 inches, 131 pounds, and wear a Small, if that helps to gauge sizing.
