This current production is running a bit small - When in doubt, size up!

Just like our Original Lightweight Hoodie but with a more traditional feel. Our lightweight hoodie is perfect for sun protection or a light layer of warmth. This layer will keep you protected from the sun in the mountains or on the water. And as always, the Lightweight Hoodie is Made in Salt Lake City.

Made with premium merino wool, it has the technical chops for long, sweaty days, while a touch of nylon adds durability to more rugged detours. And with real-world adaptability — thanks to a relaxed fix, below-the-waist coverage, and natural odor-resistant properties — everyday excursions become a part of the journey, not the destination.

Corespun® technology allows for the next to skin feel of 100% merino, with a nylon core for added durability.

I like it but it arrived different from the picture

Holes after first wash.

Had high hopes for this piece, but I found several pinholes after the first gentle wash. The thumb loop stitching is also coming apart. For the price, this is so disappointing! After reading some other reviews, I see the holes are a common issue. I guess we're back to finding another wool top that holds up better.

Thin and good quality

Love it!

I love the hoody. It feels great and is not too warm and not too cold. It works well against sun and most mosquitoes/sand flies. I usually always wore tsirts when hiking, but the hoody now replaces these, especially when I'm on long hikes. It takes quite a long time to smell bad (comparable to e.g. icebreaker) and then you can wash it in cold river water (without soap). It dries quickly. The material is thin and you have to be a little bit careful, but I don't know of any nice&thin merino shirt where this isn't the case. First I wanted the blue hoody but it was sold out. However, it only took two days for me to fall in love with the orange color. I would also like to thank the customer service for quickly processing my request after something went wrong. In summary I am extremely happy with the hoody, its simple, fitts well (have it in S), looks good and does what it needs to do :)

Great lightweight hoodie

1. It's lightweight, warm, and sweat dries quickly.
2. Thumb loops work well for me. A bit concerned about their durability, but look simple to repair, if needed.
3. Love the scuba hood -- best simple hood I've found!
4. It's sewn in USA! It does not cost 2x as much as those not made here!!
