Love everything but length

These are so great. I am tall and muscular— I love the fit and the waistband. They are so comfortable. I love the blue color— is makes me happy! I am so glad to be wearing a non-mulesed wool base layer! My only complaint— Please make them longer and in more colors. I am 5’10” and they’re ridiculously short. They’re like capri pants on me.

Hey Erin,

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review.

We're always excited to hear from our customers and utilize their feedback. It's important to us to collect and apply as we work forward.

Once we circle back to revitalizing the women's baselayer line, you should expect to see improvements in design and more color variety.

Appreciate you!

UPDATE BELOW.

Never received them. Filed a claim and am now waiting for a response back. I'll update this once/if I do.

UPDATE: Customer service got back to me and were very understanding and helpful. A replacement package for the items not received was sent out and the items are of great quality and fit. There were a couple hiccups, as they're a small company, but I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from Wūru again.

Too short, weird fit

I really wanted to like these, made domestically with Nuyarn (the most superior merino material that I've used for backcountry activities). But the leggings fell short in every way. They are definitely not 7/8 length. I'm only 5'5" and size small fit like capris (3/4 length), so there's a cold gap between the hem and the top of my tall socks. I bought these because the size chart says small is 26 1/4" inseam, but I measure the inseam as 23.5". In comparison, my other 7/8 pants are closer to 25". They are also not 4-way stretch, only 2-way stretch. They're very stiff in the vertical direction and I feel resistance when I pull my knees towards my chest in a high step. I wanted to use these for running and climbing, so I need the 4-way stretch. The waist band looked like a comfortable wide yoga-style waist in the photos, which is unique for base layers and a big draw of this garment, but when I pulled them on I still found a restricting thin band at the top that cut into my belly, whereas the wide part is *too stretchy* horizontally and doesn't hug the waist, instead bagging out. Additionally, the fit is off, and I have bagging at the hip flexors that cause the leggings to ride down when I move my legs. The 145gsm weight is just too light, feels like my summer hiking merino shirt. So disappointed after reading all the positive reviews and having to do a return. I'd like to meet the people who did the "rigorous testing", maybe there were no small women on the team? Hopefully I just got a mis-cut pair and these are actually as great at the reviews make them seem.

Warm and soft

Initially, I was dubious that such a thin material could work as an insulator. I was surprised that it did keep me warm in very frigid weather.

Awesome

I am 5'9, weigh 140 and purchased a medium. I love them, they fit great and feel good against my skin. I have not worn in the cold yet but they seem warm wearing around my home.
