BEST HOODIE EVER!

I bought this for use as a sun shirt. Just got back from wearing it most of the time during a six-day camping trip to Yellowstone. It was comfortable from the frosty mornings through the hottest afternoons. I'm a sweaty guy, but I hung it up at night, and it doesn't stink yet. I was already a huge fan of Merino wool for strenuous activities because its odor resistance and comfort when sweaty, but this is my new favorite Merino garment. I just ordered another one with WURU's welcome discount.

Pretty good shirt

I use this while backpacking, especially in long exposed stretches above tree line. This is a pretty great shirt all around but the hood should really be a bit bigger. It covers my neck great but you can still get blasted by sun on the sides of your face, which makes this shirt far less useful because the hood is not really big enough. Also wish it came in green. I'll probably have to go back to my ridge merino sun hoodie because of the more complete protection. Everything else about this shirt is great.

Like that it is light and quick dry. Balls just a little, needs a tighter weave.

Looking for sunshine

I found this top while looking for some new wool pieces to add to my outdoor/active wardrobe. My main activities are hiking, biking, running, and paddleboarding, and it's always a treat to find women's clothing that can keep up.

Pros: I absolutely love the color! I got the one in yellow for high visibility and got compliments the first day I wore it out. The fabric is comfortable to wear and temperature regulates as I expect wool to do. I took it out for a run on a fairly warm day and was not overheated. The sleeve length is excellent so the backs of my hands are protected. The hood collar wraps just so with a slight brim for shade, and I also love the droptail for a little bum coverage!

Cons: The overall fit is a smidge snug, a slightly closer fit than my other wool-based running tops. I would still call the garment true to size. The thumb holes don't quite line up with my thumbs, but seem a bit closer to the backs of my hands. However, the most concerning point for me is that I found a small hole in the garment after a single use, located in the back neck area of the hood. I am disappointed to find a hole right away, especially in such an odd area. I would expect that a garment at this price point would be of higher quality. I'll find a way to mend the hole so I can keep using the shirt, but I don't think I would purchase another of these tops.
