I love the bright color! I’d been considering investing in a merino sun shirt for a while but so many out there are subdued colors and as a runner in the city I want to be as visible as possible. This coral hoodie is now my favorite running shirt – it’s as breathable and wicking as my synthetic shirts, but without the constant battle with locked-in stink. Sure, I may not smell like daisies after an hour of running, but I smell a lot better in this than I did wearing polyester, and if I hang up the shirt to air out afterward, any sweaty smell virtually vanishes by the next day. I can keep wearing it for several runs before I put it through the wash, save some water. Thus far I’ve been wearing it in mild spring weather, and it keeps me warm at the beginning if it’s breezy and then is nice and breathable toward the end when I’m warm from exertion. It seems like the shirt will continue to be comfortable in warmer temps - I definitely plan to keep wearing it throughout the summer. (Anything to avoid putting on sunscreen…)
One thing to be aware of is that if you wear a bra you may want one that’s close to your skin color, and any logos on the bra may show through. Also, as a runner I don’t find it practical to wear the hood (although I imagine it’s great for other things). If Wuru ever makes a hoodless option available with a high neck, I’d be all over that. Would save me putting sunscreen on my neck.
