Nice and warm wool without the bulk

Perfect for winter layering or spring and fall as a shirt. Nice and warm wool without the bulk. My husband in WI and my arborist son in law in OR love these shirts!

The perfect shirt for high energy activity

I have had this shirt for a bit over a month (along with a couple short sleeve and zip-up) now and it rules. I am 6' and about 170lbs (with a shortish torso) and the medium fits me great. I was looking for a shirt to go out running in that would be good in moderate temps by itself and couple layer over for really cold runs. It has excelled in both roles. It is just warm enough to be used by itself on runs down to close to freezing without a lot of wind. But throw a wind breaker over top and it is good to the low teens for me. All while keeping me dry and staying nice enough to take straight out to dinner afterward.

I am excited to see how it does in warmer temps as a way to keep the sun off my arms on really long days out on the trail. I have high hopes!

I wash it cold and make sure to give it a little stretch (wet blocking your wool is always a good idea) before laying out on the drying rack and it has not shrunk on me.

I really love that these are made in US and I love supporting a company local to Salt Lake!

Serious Shrinkage

The new line of NuYarn apparel seems to shrink quite a bit after first wash. I’m 6’ 185lbs with 32” inseam.

Washed once cold and laid flat to dry. The overall length shrunk considerably. The bottom barely reaches my waistline (no belly here so I’d assume it’d be worse otherwise), and the sleeves have also shrunk. Overall the shirts seem to have shrunk a full size smaller.

This is my second set of NuYarn shirts as the first set shrunk as well and were replaced. The shirts are now small enough to fit my wife (who is 5’8” and thin).

I would like to note I have several articles of Wuru clothing since before this NuYarn stuff & never once had this issue before. New tech = meh. Don’t fix what ain’t broke.

Julio, Thank you for taking the time to write the review - I'm sorry to hear about this issue and will be reaching out directly. I wanted to note, we're going to be adding more length to our upcoming production to help compensate with Nuyarn. Additionally, we'll be bringing back our previous fabric too.
We will continue to get better and feedback like this helps greatly!

Too short!

I love this shirt. BUT cold washed and dried flat once and it is too short in the body. I'm 6' with a 33" inseam. No insanely long torso. But this barely makes it to my pants waist now. I'm flashing my old man belly everywhere. It sucks so much, because I LOVE this shirt. I'd easily but one or two more and wear nothing else EVER ( well, except for the short sleeve version). But no one wants that much of my bare belly.
