Disappointed

The material of the shirt is very thin and slightly shiney. Looks a little cheap. Also the shirt itself is way too long. Looks very baggy and sloppy. Could have a good 4” taken off the length

Very nice

The shirt is soft, comfortable, and well made. I haven't worn it long enough to speak of its durability yet. Sizing could be a problem for some. I have a 40" chest so I ordered the medium. The shirt just fits; if it shrinks any I probably won't be able to wear it. However, the snug fit is what I want because it will be my first layer. But for men between the 40" medium and the 43" large getting a good fit could be difficult. E.g. someone with a 41" chest would probably order a large (if my shirt is an example a medium would not fit) and thus have a very loose fit.

lovely

purchased mainly for bicycle touring. material has good weight, stitching appears solid, and made in the usa. i'm 5'10'', 160 lb, and i like my bicycle clothing a little loose. so i went with the large size, which are fine even after washing. i'm quite happy with these.

Imported

I bought because of the “US made” claim but they fooled me. Imported fabric, sewn in the US.

Hi Brandon,
Thank you for your feedback — I understand your concern and want to be fully transparent. At Wūru Wool Co., we proudly manufacture 100% our apparel in our Salt Lake City, Utah factory. That means all design, cutting, sewing, and finishing is done here by our team.

Our merino wool fabric is sourced from New Zealand and Australia. While we continue to look for comparable US suppliers, unfortunately, the minimum order quantity would require us to buy ~10,000 yards of fabric, which is simply not possible for us as a bootstrapped brand.

That's 10x what we currently purchase at a time. As you can imagine, wool fabric is expensive.

We choose to be clear about this and highlight it throughout our site. While the fiber and fabric are imported, the garments themselves are truly American-made in both craftsmanship and employment impact. Your purchase directly supports US manufacturing jobs, fair wages, and small-batch quality control.

We appreciate you holding brands to high standards and supporting American manufacturing. We continue to look for opportunities to improve and enhance our operations while running a sustainable business.
