I bought several items as xmas presents and ended up keeping most of them for my self. This gear is unsurpassed in quality and performance. Highly recommended.
I really like these socks. They are very comfortable. There is extra padding over every pressure point on my feet. They wash and dry beautifully. I do turn them inside out as recommended for washing. I have never had socks this nice. The communication with the company is excellent. They keep you informed at every step. They are delivered quickly. I recommend these socks highly.
I am impressed with these socks. I have only worn them once so far since I just received them. I washed and dried them. Came out perfect from the dryer. I thought they might be small just looking at them as I am a size 10 shoe, but they fit well. I like the left and right socks. The toes of the socks fit better with this design. I am looking forward to wearing them on a vacation planned to Antarctica where the warmth will be very important.
I bought these socks for my sister, who is training for half marathons. The wool keeps her feet warm, even when running through mud and some slushy snow. However, she is not currently using them as our morning temps are in the upper teens to low twenties F. She is wearing the quarter crew version now so her ankles and lower legs are covered. The size and style are very comfortable, but she states they fit and feel better after washing them once. She plans to wear the low cut style in the spring when temperatures are at or above freezing.
I bought these socks to give to my sister who runs half marathons and trains almost daily in all kinds of weather all year long. The weight, wool, and height of the socks keep her feet, ankles and lower legs covered and warm during her runs. She loves them! The color goes with all of her running gear and does not look dirty, even when she has run through slush or mud. These socks are perfect for the late fall, winter and early spring months here in Pennsylvania.
