2 reviewsThis dress has amazing potential! I love the feel of it. I’m picky about wearing high-necked dresses and was always so bummed I couldn’t find any in merino wool but this one is perfect. Upon initial ordering I accidentally ordered a size XL, when I am a size Small. I emailed customer service and they replied within minutes!!!!! And set me up with how to swap them out. The shipping was extremely fast too! Once I received the small dress, I realized the fit still felt a little too big, a little boxy too. I plan on getting about 4” removed and the waist cinched from a tailor, but after that I truly believe this will be the perfect dress for me! I added a photo of the natural fit, size small on 5’3” 115lbs , and then how I plan to get it hemmed.
I have been looking for a light weight 100 merino sun shirt made in the USA for a while. Finally found it. Excellent fit and very soft. I think it will be a perfect base layer for all weather
XL fits perfect in my arms and length! I'm 6' tall, 36DD.
The blue is a little on the gray side compared to a true navy blue. Yet it matches my dark wash jeans perfectly. Thank you for making a jacket that fits, looks great, and doesn't have a hood. I can wear this in the office.
I got these for my husband, who is a truck driver. He's out in the sun, loading and unloading, and needs every advantage he can get. So far he's very pleased with the shirts. They keep him cooler than cotton, and they wash up pretty easy. I've only dried them laying down flat so far. One did get a hole in it, from getting snagged on something, so keep in mind to be careful in them. But, considering the environment he's using them in, I'd say they performed really well so far.
Wuru t-shirts are great quality. I tried another brand and the quality was poor, it immediately ran, the manufacturer replaced for me it and it ran again after a few wears. I then bought two Wuru t-shirts. The quality is great, they hold up very well. I was so impressed with them I bought another two t-shirts. I wish they were in stock more often, I'm still waiting for the grey one to come back in stock. I love that they are made here in the US. Also for the medium size that I ordered they seem to run long, longer than the competitor's shirt mentioned above and longer than my t-shirts from Fresh Clean Threads. I will be wearing my WuRu t-shirts on a multi week hike soon, I hope they hold up well.
Love everything about this jacket- can't wait for colder weather
Wuru lightweight hoodie + Nuyarn Tech Baselayer pant 7/8 (13.2 oz). That's impressive because of all the companies I demo'd, Wuru was the 3rd lightest for ultra light backpacking, and coming in under less than a pound for a shirt and pants is an impressive technical achievement.
Wuru’s claim to fame is that it is the only manufacturer out of Brynje, Icebreaker, Minus 33, Ridge Merino, Paka to be produced in the United States. In addition, Wuru takes an impressive stand against animal cruelty. They prioritize animal welfare by abstaining from a common industry practice called mulesing, which involves removing skin around a lamb’s tail to prevent flu strike, flies laying larvae that infest the sheep.
I'm on the petite side ( under 5 ), I got the medium for loose fit and love it. I'm always hot given the age and having this shirts helped a lot. I got all the colors except purple. Its breaking my bank but comfort is my priority at this time of my life.
My husband loves it, its his long weekend shirt 24-7 and true enough it does not smell at all. I got him the navy, hunter green and black. Waiting for gray color. Medium fits for his 5'5" .
Thus shirt has become my new favorite. Very comfortable, fits just right, and looks good on me.
The feel and quality of this base layer is so great! I got this in the merlot and it's a beautiful rich color. I usually wear a medium top but with wool clothing, I find sizing up to a large works out for me. I loved this so much I went back and bought another top!
Loved the shirt, good fit, great feel, great color
Really like Wuru's Nuyarn lightweight hoodie! Put it to the test wearing it almost every day for five weeks on the trail. Temps were 40s to 70s and it always felt comfortable hiking. I washed and rinsed it along the way but never noticed it smelling. Looked great every day -- and still does. I also love the Moss Green color.
I'm 6' 170# and the large is a tiny bit looser and longer in the arms than I like, but comfortable and allows room underneath for a base layer. (I dont' know if the long sleeve tech shirt base layer is sized the same, but I found that a medium in the base layer was OK, but a little tighter than I would want in a top layer like the hoodie, so I was probably better off getting the large hoodie.)
If you're trying to pack light and just use this one shirt, I found it handled almost any condition well, but I still wanted a jacket in cold winds and maybe a base layer if standing around in cold weather. Also, a light wool beanie or balaclava is nice under it in cold weather because the hood is pretty loose and doesn't add much warmth, which is as it should be for a sun hoodie. For full sun protection during the middle of the day I also added either a visor or a trail umbrella, because a hood can't provide full face coverage.
Soft and warm at same time. Not itchy either
Feels amazing, fits perfectly, and is comfortable. Used to be a daily driver of minus33, and arcteryx but I think this is going to be my new daily driver, so I've just ordered three more.
