Looking for sunshine

I found this top while looking for some new wool pieces to add to my outdoor/active wardrobe. My main activities are hiking, biking, running, and paddleboarding, and it's always a treat to find women's clothing that can keep up.

Pros: I absolutely love the color! I got the one in yellow for high visibility and got compliments the first day I wore it out. The fabric is comfortable to wear and temperature regulates as I expect wool to do. I took it out for a run on a fairly warm day and was not overheated. The sleeve length is excellent so the backs of my hands are protected. The hood collar wraps just so with a slight brim for shade, and I also love the droptail for a little bum coverage!

Cons: The overall fit is a smidge snug, a slightly closer fit than my other wool-based running tops. I would still call the garment true to size. The thumb holes don't quite line up with my thumbs, but seem a bit closer to the backs of my hands. However, the most concerning point for me is that I found a small hole in the garment after a single use, located in the back neck area of the hood. I am disappointed to find a hole right away, especially in such an odd area. I would expect that a garment at this price point would be of higher quality. I'll find a way to mend the hole so I can keep using the shirt, but I don't think I would purchase another of these tops.

Light and soft

I haven’t worn this yet but it fits well and feels good. I will put it to the test next month on a three week backpacking trip. I hope it holds up better than the other Merino shirts from other brands that I own.

4mo review.

Soft, light, breathes well, fair UPF.... *BUT* hands down the least durable article of clothing I've ever owned. It's literally falling apart at the seams, has over a dozen small holes, and the thumb loops both tore. I wash by hand only (when stinky) and line dry; And use it climbing and hiking in the high desert. The fit is loose which is nice for airflow. Bit of bummer such an expensive article had such a short life. (I've been repairing it as it goes... but at 4mo of wear and $95 price tag... it's sisyphean task.)

This is not an issue we've heard - It undoubtably needs to be reviewed by the manufacturing team to see why it's failing you unlike others. Please contact us at customerservice@wuruwool.com and we'll get it taken care of.

Love My Hoodie!

Made well, wore on two cold weather 4 & 6 mile climbs and no odor. Warm enough under my Wuru full zip jacket (which i love too!) Great sum protection when weather warmed up.
