The quality was fantastic. Very well designed and made. I use it for bicycling in the winter. Put a helmet over it, works great.

Great as a base layer so far

I received the blue hoodie for Christmas. After wearing a few times, I ordered the red/orange color on my own. I'm an engineer who works outside primarily on construction sites in all four seasons. I've been very pleased with the hoodies so far. It's been below freezing temperatures where I live so I've been wearing these as a base layer under a quarter zip pullover and then a coat over it. I've noticed I've been kept warm but not sweating with the hoodie. I've also felt that I can wear one less layer than I normally do with a synthetic or cotton shirt as a base layer. I've heard that merino wool is also good for hot weather, but have not had that weather to test it out yet. The hood is a nice added feature since most of my coats don't have hoods. I also like the way the hoodie is cut so that it covers the neck without the choking feeling that a turtle neck gives. I recommend this product.

Good start

I like what this so far. I have just one wearing in some snow conditions around town paired with a down sweater. Comfortable fit without being tight, Soft feel against the skin as a primary layer. A snug neckline. I'm wondering how that will vent when it gets warm, but maybe the overall weight will be comfortable enough. The thumb loops are something I like. I bought this on a recommendation for a 150 hoodie in a layer system and I think it's versatile, dawn to dusk piece in the field. I'm much more comfortable investing in natural fiber. Already thinking adding the second color.

Lovely style

I love hoodies and this is no exception. The length is just right and the high neckline provides coverage without being too snug. The material is very comfortable. The only odd thing (which is why 1 pt deduction) is that the thumb loop does not line up with my thumb. It lines up with my first finger. I can still use the thumb loops but they are just off a bit. Maybe it is designed to be that way? Finally, I like supporting small business and especially appreciate these are made in the USA and hope the company will be able to keep it that way. The customer service has been very good when I have questions or concerns.

Nice base layer

I use these as mountain bike jerseys and in warm whether they're light enough to serve that purpose, in cooler weather they work well as a base layer. The thumb loops seem like an afterthought that some others execute as a hemmed hole near the cuff but these work to prevent the sleeves from ducting air straight up the sleeve.
Size wise I'm 5'6" and 185 pounds and the XL garment fits well except in length. The hood is generously sized.
