Thumbholes Misplaced

The 1/4 zips produced by their previous partners in CA will hopefully no longer be sold by Wuru as they make their way through the remaining stock. The thumbhole placement is terrible as illustrated in an image below (pinky finger placement).

You can see how the shirt naturally falls and even an in-house repair led to twisting sleeves which created unnecessary tension in the lower-arm/wrist region.

CS: "Although it was initially defective, the second time around, we worked to repair the defect, and it was again returned due to personal preference."

The website image displayed here led me to believe that the thumbholes wouldn't affect how the sleeve should naturally lay on one's body. Wuru should include product photography showing a person using their thumbholes so you won't be deceived.

If their repaired thumbhole placement leads to sleeve twisting this leads me to believe that is how they view their product to be worn in practice. How unusual.

I am disappointed I didn't receive a full refund for a known defective product when their "repair" didn't meet expectations.

Kwnny,
I'm sorry it didn't work out. Our old partner manufacturer made this shirt before we brought our manufacturing internally and clearly misplaced the thumb loop.

Upon getting it back to correct the issue, our production team removed the cuff, moved the thumb loop, reattached the cluff, and pressed it. Upon review and as the picture shows, the pressing of the cuff is why you can see the outline you describe of the thumb loop, which would go away upon laundering. I'm sorry we weren't able to make it work - After we corrected the issue, like all returns, the customer only pays the discounted rate of return shipping.

We're always looking to improve the design of future productions, and hopefully, we can earn your business.

Feels good

I like everything about this top but the zipper. The zipper bulks outwards and takes away from fit, style and comfort. However. I an extremely short waisted and I think that may be the reason for the fit. I would purchase again and siize down.
My husband loves his and he has a longer torso.

Good but not great

I want to love this quarter-zip but I just can't. The fabric is comfortable, high quality and seems like it will last a long time. Yay! However, I don't think the fit is designed for curvy women. Oh well. I can deal with this. My biggest complaint, though, are the thumb holes. Their position makes no sense to me. If I let the sleeves fall naturally, the thumb holes end up on the top of my hands and it looks really dumb. The sleeves have to twist in order to use the thumb holes, which is annoying. Why didn't they make them on the side/bottom of the sleeve? I just don't get it.

Nicole, we will have the design team look into this - You're 100% correct, it should be on the side. This is the first we've heard of this issue.

Wuru for the Win!

Got my first piece from Wuru a few weeks ago and I can see that it’s going to earn a spot in all my travel capsules.

First of all, the color - Mykonos - is gorgeous!
But more important the merino is high quality. The top offers warmth and structure without adding weight to my travel bag. I’ve only worn it locally but am looking forward to wearing it in France in October.

So glad to hear how much you're enjoying your zip-up. Thank you for your support of the brand!
